Creative Business Branding

Time and experience has allowed me to perfect and simplify a 6-step process,

to make sure that every project runs smoothly and on time.

If you believe that WKS is your perfect branding partner, then let’s start a conversation on email or Skype. I’ll review  the scope and timeline of your project and send you a personalised quote. Once the quote has been accepted, a 50% booking deposit is required to place your project in the queue. I’ll also send you my design contract to read and sign.

Once the deposit is received and paperwork completed, I will send you a brief questionnaire that prompts your to share important insights and details about your business. You will also be asked to work on a visual vision board for your business on Pinterest. This questionnaire and visual homework will give your the opportunity to explore your brand’s mission, vision, ideal client and competition in more detail. I will then use this information to put together a formal timeline and a “stand-out-from-the-crowd” strategy for your brand.

Once we’ve reviewed and agreed upon the brand strategy, I will move on to the first design drafts. You will be presented with two initial concepts, from where you need to choose one for further development.

Together we will work through two rounds of refinements to the chosen concept. Colours, fonts and other supporting graphics will be added to arrive at a complete identity package for your brand. This is also the stage where on-brand copy and images will be created to carry forth in the roll-out of your stationery and website.

Now that we have all the tools we need, the identity will be rolled out onto all paid-for printed and digital collateral, such as business cards and documents. Final copy and edited images will also be used to design your new website. Two rounds of feedback will be included for each element, after which an hourly design rate of R500 p/h  will apply.

Once everything is approved, I will send all of the files (eps, png and pdf) to you via Dropbox. I’m also happy to put your in touch with trustworthy printers and developers, should your brand need some extra attention once our design work is done.
