The second Pink Party Workshop at Landtscap
Pink is a colour that combines red and white. Red represents the need for action and success, while white offers insight, clarity and a “fresh start”. Overall Pink is a positive colour that stands for energy, hope and kindness, and puts all of us in touch with the nurturing side of ourselves, through either the need to receive or the need to give.
As a side-venture to White Kite Studio stationery design and branding, I’ve launched a revolutionary new workshop for creative entrepreneurs on branding, online marketing and community building. The first ever Pink Party took place in October 2015, and straight after the photos were blogged I was flooded with interest for the next dates. There was no time to waste, and thank goodness for the amazing team of creative contributors that were willing to give me their time and talent in pulling this second workshop together.
The Pink Party is a space to receive good vibes and share your own experiences. We all need a little fresh start from time to time, a push in the right direction or just the courage to begin! The Pink Party is a workshop to find your focus, get inspired and collect the tools you need to go out there and make a dream happen! I would like to give a very special mention to The Food Fox for literally blowing us all away!!! The food at this workshop was simply incredible, and I can’t thank Ilse enough for the time and love that she’s put into our event. Also, and as always, Tammy and Gillian from Landtscap took care of everything for me. These girls are close to my heart, and I’m so grateful for all the time and attention they have given me over the last months. I am truly committed to Landtscap as a venue, and once you’re there you’ll understand how incredible the views, and most of all, the service is.
At this workshop, we were very lucky to have Iaan from Plus Plus Minus join us as a guest speaker. Iaan offered some really great insights into the world of Google Analytics, a topic that is a little daunting to most of us creatives. Iaan spoke about how to analyse data and ultimately make better decisions for your business.
Enjoy these gorgeous pictures by Claudia De Nobrega of the second Western Cape Pink Party, with amazing styling by Anli Wahl Floral Design (Anli, you’re such an incredible creative, and I could not have done this without you). I also had some pretty wonderful goodie bag contributors on board, all of which have very admirable brands themselves. Thanks so much to Maria Magdalena Atelier, Skinny Laminx, Lulu&Marula, Seven Swans, MStudio, Prestwich Collection, The Letterpress Company, Hello Dolly Designs and Wetink for their contributions. I loved working with all of you and meet all these beautiful new people!
